Ted instantly appeared with me and we healed Elvis. Within seconds it seemed Elvis stood up straight smilling in an all mauve outfit. "The pain has gone. I am completely cured!" said Elvis. "I will help you. You will meet an Opera singer one day and I shall help you to sing." I came out of the ranch doors in to the theatre and sat three rows from the back. There was a show going on. A packed house, exept for a few seats. I sat down and no-one seamed to notice me as if I was invisible. Then, suddenly the bright light started to fade. I was then sitting bolt upright in my bed. Eyes wide awake. Throughout the vision everything was ultra clear. Then I was looking around my bedroom. I went back to sleep and woke up as normal in the morning. Circumstance: During the intermission of Herbie Hancock's set, the freakin Spin Doctors walked out on stage. My friend and I almost threw up with disgust and made our way to the concession stands. My friend was in the Lynchberg Lemonade stand line and I was in the Barbacue Ribs and Chicken line. After a couple of minutes, my friend joined me in the food line with the lemonades. The line did not move for at least five minutes. I looked at the front of the line and saw a huge guy wearing a black satin jacket embroidered with "I Am The King." This guy had two plates filled to capacity with barbacued chicken legs and at least 12 country style ribs. After paying the teenage girl, he walked by us and did a double-take on our lemonades. He asked if he could buy one of our drinks and I tossed him one and said "Here you go King, free of charge." Elvis replied, "Thank you boys, thank you very much. Enjoy the freakin Spin Doctors."

Circumstance: The King is alive and well, living in Oxford, England. I am privileged to work with the King, especially when he asks me to go out and buy him some junk food. However, I do find his Southern drawl too inaudible to understand at times, but hey, he’s the King, who gives a damn. The sideburns are alive and well you’ll be glad to know, and he rarely gets off his chair – in fact he scoots around the office in the chair as if he couldn’t care less. I must also mention that the King has developed a taste for subtitled films, preferably French – he’d be an arthouse critic if it weren’t for his Southern ways keeping his feet (or should I say ass) on the ground. Viva Las Oxford – the King, he lives!

AT A WEDDING IN MILWAUKEE

Circumstance: Everyone was on the dance floor at Tammi Tesch's wedding reception, dancing to those 70's tunes. It was about 10:00. Then suddenly, a tall, burly security guard-type person rushed in. Right behind him was an unmistakeable figure. When the DJ saw him, she immediately put on an Elvis song, "RETURN TO SENDER." The dance floor cleared as Elvis made his way towards Tammi and proceeded to shimmy and shake with her. Flash bulbs went off, videocams came out. Elvis turned away from Tammi only to pose for pictures. Then, when the song ended, and Elvis dipped the bride, the rather large security guard yelled, "E., we gotta go!" Elvis dropped to one knee, posed one last time, pointed both index fingers toward the exit before being whisked away to a waiting limo. How do I know it was the King? He wore a T-shirt with his pciture on it, a black leather jacket with his autographed signature on the front, and the gates of Graceland on the back. And he wore an Elvis mask It was brilliant! An Elvis impersonator would have worn makeup, wig, etc., but never a mask. Elvis, disguising himself as an Elvis impersonator to throw people off. Sheer genius!
