Circumstance: I am just a bin emptier in work so imagine my surprise when I emptied the bin of one of the temps and he said "Thank you very much". Exactly like the King! Instantly I knew. "King" i said falling to my knees in front of him "at last I have found you, please come with me to the third floor to meet Buddy Holly" He smiled slightly and said "Get up you idiot, my name is Martin and I come from Bedminster" But I insisted, "Master, please join me and the other worshippers at the local Burger King where we shall rejoice" "Fuck off you looney" he replied, throwing a waste paper bin at me. I still treasure that bin and sing to it every night. Just today I saw a lady in the building who looked like Diana. After much screaming she convinced me she had never heard of Diana Dors and I left the womens toilet in shame. I have not been well recently. Sun cream for all those Red Necks anyone?

Circumstance: Why can't you people just give your head a shake. E.A. Prestley is dead. As awful as that may be, he is. Let him rest in peace.  If it was your mother, or father that was dead, you wouldn't go around saying you saw them in the nursing home that you work at. Now don't get me wrong, I do believe that you can have a ghost visit you. But as for him still really being alive, is a crazy idea. But you know, if he really was alive a staged his death, don't you think there was a reason for it?  Maybe he just wants to left alone.

Circumstance: I am the manager of Sunderland AFC and the other day whilst my team was out on the field i was a bit bored. We were winning 6-0 against Oxford at the time so I had not much to worry about, then out of the blue we scored again, I always look at the crowd when we score, and there in the crowd with three cheeseburgers and six packets of fries, three beers and a diet coke, was the knig him self, Elvis Presley. He was as plain as the nose on Kevin Balls face, and every one who nose Kevin Ball nose he has a big nose.

Circumstance: The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, 7000 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, California. I am with room service, and this afternoon I was walking down the hall. I knocked on the door of room 1200 and I was amazed at what I saw! There was an elderly gentleman there who bore a remarkable resemblence to Elvis. And on the floor, there was a cute little old woman. She sort of looked like how one would immagine Mrs. Santa Claus.  I looked closer and realized that she could have passed as Marilyn Monroe had she been 35 years younger. When they spoke, I knew they were Marilyn and Elvis! About that time, several other elderly people came in from the adjoining room. James Dean? And someone else.

There is no way the voice I heard singing is anyone but the "King". Who would think to look for him on stage performing as himself? And it gets better! During the second half of the show he performs as other superstars like Liberace, Tom Jones, Michael Jackson, (I SWEAR!)....Johnny Mathis, Neil Diamond-- even as one of the Blues Brothers! I wish I had kept that box, I had to wait 3 days!!! to get more cheesy poofs,

I gave him one and he vanished into the woods.

Circumstance: I was sitting alone in a booth at a donut shop when an old gentlemen asked if he could sit at the booth I was in. I said he could, and he introduced himself only as John. He had a slight southern accent and piercing blue eyes, was very mild mannered, and around 220 lbs. He said he was from Memphis and was in hiding. When I asked him why he was aloof, and only said that he had staged his own death. I asked him if he was Elvis Presely, to which he replied "I can't tell you that." He was older looking and heavier, but I am convinced it was him.

Circumstance: I'll never forget when I first noticed Dead Elvis, hanging around his house after dying and all. I found the whole thing kind of weird. What's all this stuff about? I wondered, all this stuff about back yards and there being no place like home, etc. When I was there at Graceland, looking down at his grave during a part of the tour--I encouraged him to leave Memphis and move on out to California. I was myselvisiting Graceland after having "survived"--they always say that, now don't they?--an overdose of drugs. I'm pretty sure Dead Elvis listened to me and moved on--he's been seen a lot in a lot of places. Me, I took my own advice and moved to California. Meanwhile, my brother moved to downtown Memphis. I've asked him to be on the lookout for Dead Elvis. It also occurred to me that he must be one of the restless dead rather than the resting dead--but I'm pretty sure he's at peace. At least, he does seem pretty peaceful, even when he's playing those games ! ! ! by the id software people. Incidentally, after visiting Graceland, I lost all my former suicidal tendencies. For me, that counts as a miracle.  Therefore, weird or not, I can relate to the whole scene by giving it the benefit of the doubt... Happy Birthday Dead Elvis!

in the back yard by the pool i felt an disturbingly frightening apparition -- then a electric shock! i am consumed by sentiments of misery and anguish from elvis for being buried in his back yard. he finds it distasteful,inappropriate and unrespectful.he wants graceland to be a place for the living,friends,family and fans but not as a grave sight.his meditation garden was not meant to be a cemetery! he wants some family to reside or charities to borrow it -the rest of the house can still be visited by fans.elvis deeply desires his remains to be placed in a six crypt mausoleum , the mausoleum can be on his property but not near his house.elvis longs to be placed in a chamber between his mother and father.with the original "jesus" statue returned and placed out side,on top of the mausoleum.this area should be a tranquil place near oak trees with plenty of ground for visitors who want to pray,and pay their last respects... lisa marie would you please do this for your father. a tearful petition that is much merited. a final resting place for the "king" should not be his back yard. amenn

Circumstance: I work for a delivery company in Cape Town. During one of the recent strikes I had to go out and make some deliveries. I was asked to deliver a parcel from the US to a house in Paarl. When I arrived at the house, I rang the doorbell, but there was no response. So I walked around to the back as I could hear a radio playing. Lying next to the pool was this gentleman wearing sunglasses, a hat and a robe. Well I walked up to him to give him the parcel and ask him to sign for it. He stood up and took off his sunglasses and that is when I knew !! No-one can mistake those eyes !! I thought to myself: This must be a coincidence. But his voice was the same and he looked like Elvis - well an older version than the old photos. I know it was him !! He even signed the work order as: Elvin Preston - Mmmmm I wonder .....

Circumstance: I was sitting in my house, watching tv, when a shadow moved across the wall and caught my eye. I leaned over to put on my leg brace so I could get up to see what it was. when I enterd the kitchen, I saw him sitting at the table, eating a peanut butter sandwich! It was the wierdest thing I've ever seen in my life! I remember thinking, "how did this man get into my house? What is he doing here?", But then I thought, "how in the hell am I seeing this man who is supposed to be dead, right here in front of me?" That's not all! He talked to me! He asked me if I had any white bread becuase all he could find was wheat, and he doesn't like wheat. I turned around to get him the bread, and when I turned back around, he was gone, just like that. It was sooo weird. All that remained from his visit were some bread crumbs that had fallen from his sandwitch and a wrinked up napkin.

I looked back down at my burger and when i looked up again his burgers were on the ground and he had vanished without a trace.!!!!!!!

You should be patient with folks. I remember when I first realized I was dead. It took me quite some time to 'get over it' as you say.
